SEPTEMBER 2018: The Big Push . . . Attempt

WEEK 1
Current Weight :
160.2 *I gained 3 pounds over my 3 day birthday weekend. (ideal climbing weight 150)

9/3 Monday

  • Pull ups Warmup: 2X - 10 chest pullups
  • Max pull-ups with 110 pounds 5 sets  (2X 3 pull-ups, 4 pull-ups, 3 pull-ups )
    • I feel much stronger
  • Front Lever Pulls: 5 sets of 6 reps

9/4 Tuesday

  • DBC: 20 minute warm up
  • DBC: 6 sets of 5, V5-V6 in 5 minutes. 
    • I failed on the last set and was only able to do 3 reps.  I was drained and wanted to go to bead after . . .

9/6 Thursday

  • DBC: 20+ minute warmup
  • DBC: Projected about an hour V8-V9
  • Front Lever Pulls: 5 sets of 2x – 6 reps, 3x 5 reps
    • On the last two sets the 5th rep was very sloppy
  • Wooden Block pinches
      • 2 sets of double dyno campus to the top
        • 2 Sets of double dyno campus to the top skipping blocks

      9/7 Friday – I was not feeling strong today, Abs very sore.

      • DBC: 20+ minute warmup
      • DBC: Climbed a bunch of V5-V7s
      • DBC: Projected about an hour V7-V9
      • Pull ups Warmup: 2X - 5 chest pullups (with some add weight 25#s)
        • Max pull-ups with 100 pounds 3 sets  (3X 3 pull-ups )
        • Max pull-ups with 115 pounds 2 sets  (2X 2 pull-ups )
        • Max pull-ups with 125 pounds 2 sets  (2X 1 pull-ups )
        • Max pull-ups with 140 pounds 1 sets  (1X half pull-up)
